Apprenticeship at Zuto:
- Conducted vulnerability scans using Greenbone Vulnerability Management to identify and remediate security risks.
- Investigated suspicious emails and refined email security policies using Mimecast to mitigate phishing threats.
- Assisted in configuring CrowdStrike prevention policies to enhance endpoint protection and threat mitigation.
- Led phishing simulation campaigns, onboarding presentations, and global refresher training to improve security awareness company-wide.
- Beginning hands-on experience with Sumo Logic SIEM for security event monitoring and incident analysis.
- Managed IT asset inventory and coordinated patch deployment to maintain security hygiene across corporate devices.
My background:
- 6 years’ experience in IT support across three companies.
- Completed Level 3 Support Technician Apprenticeship.
- Achieved Level 3 Extended Diploma in Information Technology.

Nice to meet you, Im Ethan. A big nerd from Manchester with a passion for Technology and an obsession with Warhammer.
My career in IT was decided from a young age when I was introduced to Halo, which eventually led to building my first computer.
In the last couple of years, I have explored DevOps, Frontend Development, and some C#. I discovered a passion for cybersecurity and have dived headfirst into my Cybersecurity Apprenticeship at Zuto.
